Absence of Light

My ghost story poem on Pedestal Poetry!

Pedestal

I count mile markers

on the highway as the night

grows darker.

And nothing is quite

starker

than the absence of light

by a parked car,

except for white,

fixed stars.

I see a ghost. A wight.
